TV Star Arrested: Police Raid Celebrity’s Home in Shocking Bust!

A former star of the iconic TV show Doctor Who was reportedly detained at his residence in London.

Noel Clarke, famously known for his role as Mickey Smith on the esteemed British television show, was taken into custody from his home after a police operation, as reported by Express.

Early this morning, before 9 am, law enforcement officers conducted a raid at his Kensington, West London home, where they remained for approximately five hours. During the raid, various items including computers and documents were seized as part of an ongoing investigation. Clarke was allowed back into his home after 5 PM.

In Doctor Who, a beloved British sci-fi series, Clarke was introduced as Mickey Smith in the first episode of the show’s revival in the modern era and continued in this role during the tenures of both the Ninth and Tenth Doctors.

This arrest occurred shortly after Clarke was defeated in a legal battle against The Guardian newspaper. He had filed a libel lawsuit against the publication following its article in which more than 20 women accused him of sexual misconduct. The UK courts found that the allegations made by The Guardian were “substantially true,” leading to Clarke’s loss in court. Since these allegations surfaced in 2021, Clarke has not been featured in any film or television projects.

The court found no evidence of the “conspiracy” Clarke cited, which he claimed involved 26 women aiming to destroy his career. The judge dismissed this notion.

“There has been no conspiracy to lie,” stated the judge. “Given there is no conspiracy, the idea that more than 20 witnesses, who are not directly involved in this case nor stand to gain from it as Mr. Clarke does, would come to court to lie is inherently unlikely.”

The judge also noted that “it is evident that women have been recounting their experiences with Mr. Clarke for many years.”

Despite the court’s ruling, Clarke maintains his innocence. Following the verdict, he expressed his distress.

“I’ve never claimed to be perfect. However, I am not the person portrayed in these reports. Overnight, I lost everything. It’s not just my life that the media destroyed, but my family’s as well,” he commented.
