Award-Winning Star & Spouse Set to Welcome Third Child: Details Inside!

By Emily Anderson

Kieran Culkin’s dream of a bustling household is becoming a reality.

Expanding the Family

Last week on Instagram, Jazz Charton, Culkin’s wife, announced that they are expecting their third child. Charton humorously shared the news with her followers, saying, “Saw Keanu Reeves on broadway and now I’m 9 months pregnant.”

Culkin, known for his role in the hit series Succession, had expressed his desire for more children during his Academy Award acceptance speech for his performance in A Real Pain earlier in the year.

A Promise Made Public

“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from [Jazz] because she said that if I won the award that she would give me the kid,” he recounted, referring to his Emmy win for Succession. “Turns out, she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win.”

Despite the initial annoyance this declaration caused his wife, the couple did eventually agree to expand their family. Culkin shared a light-hearted anecdote from after the Emmys, “But anyway, after the show, we are walking through the parking lot—she is holding the Emmy and we’re trying to find our car—and she goes, ‘Oh god I did say that! I guess I owe you a third kid!’ and I turned to her and I said, ‘Really, I want four.’”

He continued, revealing a conversation they had just over a year ago, “And she turned to me—and I swear to god this happened—she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’”

Winning and Wishing

Culkin indeed won an Oscar, leading him to joyously declare during his speech, “Jazz, the love of my life, ye of little faith, no pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again… and let’s get cracking on those kids.”

The news of the pregnancy surfaced in Instagram comments where a user remarked, “Waiting for people to realize you were already pregnant when he gave that Oscars speech lmao.” To which Charton responded, confirming, “I was 2 months and so sick – he’s an a–hole.”

This blend of public declarations and private jokes paints a picture of a couple navigating the exciting and unpredictable journey of expanding their family, under the watchful eyes of their fans and the public.
