Actor Ashton Kutcher, well-known for his role in “That ’70s Show,” has made a significant move by investing in Soho House, a club where he has been a member for over a decade. Kutcher shared his enthusiasm on Instagram, stating, “Fifteen years a proud @sohohouse member—today I’m investing to help take the company private. This place has been a global creative home, a refuge, and a launchpad for friendships. My hope is that the future of the Houses will be as inspired as the members who bring them to life.”

As part of a major $2.4 billion transaction aimed at privatizing Soho House, Kutcher will join the company’s board. The deal, orchestrated by a consortium led by hotel industry leader MCR, involves purchasing the outstanding shares of Soho House at $9 each in cash. Following this deal, Soho House’s Executive Chairman Ron Burkle, along with other principal investors, will maintain control over the company. This development was officially announced by Soho House on a recent Monday.

The transaction is slated for completion by the year 2025. Once finalized, Soho House will cease its trading activities on the New York Stock Exchange. As per the latest data at the end of June 2025, Soho House boasts over 270,000 members worldwide. The company also reported a significant 8.9% increase in revenue year-over-year, reaching a total of $329.8 million for the second fiscal quarter of the year.
