New Insights into the Tragic Passing of Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Fresh information has been released regarding the unexpected demise of Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

According to reports from the Costa Rica National Police to ABC News on Monday, Warner, famed for his portrayal of Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, tragically lost his life due to drowning near Costa Rica’s coastline on Sunday. He was 54 years old.

Authorities reported that Warner was swept away by a strong current while swimming near Cocles, a beach located in Limon, Costa Rica. He was found later that Sunday afternoon. Following formal identification by the police, asphyxia was officially declared as his cause of death.

It was revealed on Monday afternoon that Warner had been vacationing with his family when he drowned.

Warner gained fame through his role as the son of Bill Cosby’s character, Cliff Huxtable, on The Cosby Show, a part that led to an Emmy nomination in 1986 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
