Zachary Levi Welcomes First Child: Inside His Joy with Partner Maggie Keating!

By Emily Anderson

A well-known DC superhero has recently become a father.

Zachary Levi, the 44-year-old star of Shazam!, and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Maggie Keating, celebrated the arrival of their first child, a boy named Henson Pugh, on April 2.

“Henson Ezra Levi Pugh. Born into our world on 04/02/25,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post dated April 10. “We are grateful for everyone’s ongoing support and prayers for our family of three. We are excited for you all to meet our little guy!”

The couple has chosen to keep their relationship relatively private, yet they have received considerable support from their circle of friends. Sarah Lancaster, Levi’s co-star from Chuck, commented on how beautiful the child is, and Kat McNamara from Arrow responded with three heart emojis.

Levi was previously married to FBI actress Missy Peregrym in June 2014, but the marriage ended six months later. He announced in December last year that he was expecting a child with Keating, a former contestant on America’s Next Top Model. At that time, he also expressed his long-held desire to become a father on his Instagram.

“Becoming a dad has been a dream of mine since my own childhood… However, I always knew I needed to make some changes in my life before I could take on the blessing and responsibility of fatherhood,” he wrote.

He elaborated on his journey of self-improvement, focusing on his physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, which ultimately led him to meeting Keating.

“God introduced me to a wonderful, honest, and grounded love through the angelic form of @maggiekeating,” he continued. “She’s a remarkable woman who’s also on a path of self-discovery and love. Together, we’re ready to start this exciting new chapter of our lives.” So, we embarked on this journey together.”
