Naomi is joyfully expecting her first child!
The current WWE Women’s World Champion, aged 37, shared the delightful news during Monday Night Raw, revealing that she and her spouse, Jimmy Uso, are soon to welcome a new member into their family. Subsequently, she vacated her championship title in the wrestling ring.
Under her real name, Trinity Fatu, Naomi first disclosed this exciting development in a sneak peek of the What’s Your Story? podcast hosted by Stephanie McMahon. She openly announced, “I’m pregnant and I’m going to have a baby.”
During her appearance on Monday Night Raw, Naomi fully embraced her wrestling persona, humorously commenting that her fellow wrestlers should thank her husband for his preference to “Netflix and chill,” humorously hinting at how this led to her pregnancy. She boasted about the continuation of his renowned Samoan lineage.
As she prepared to leave the wrestling scene temporarily, Naomi issued a playful yet stern warning. She declared, “I’m going to leave my title here. I’m giving you ladies nine months and a bit more to do what you want with my title. But make no mistake, even if I have to return breastfeeding with my baby in my arms, I will come back to reclaim my place,” she asserted. “And to whoever holds that title then, you better be cautious.”
