If you've shopped at Nordstrom Rack between October 16 and December 24, 2023, and you're not quite satisfied with your purchase, don't worry. Here are the return policies you need to know.
Return Deadlines
You can get a full refund if the item is returned before January 15, 2024, within 30 days from the day you bought it in-store, or within 40 days of its online purchase, based on whichever comes later. If you use a store-credit card, you're given a little more leeway – you may return items up to 60 days after the purchase.
Qualifying Items for Return
Not all merchandise can be returned. You may return apparel, accessories, bags, leather goods, sunglasses, watches, jewelry (designer items being an exception), and footwear. Just be sure to confirm that these items are not marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.” They should be in their original packaging and should not be worn or damaged.
Beauty Items and Late Returns
Beauty items are generally not eligible for return, unless stated otherwise. Furthermore, if you miss the return deadline, don't fret. You can still get a partial refund equalling 50% of the original sale price. This will be credited to an electronic gift card.
Return Options for Online Purchases
If you've made an online purchase, you have the option to return the gift either to a Nordstrom Rack or Nordstrom store in the US.
Refund Options
Once your return is approved, you can choose to get a refund credited to your original form of payment or as a Nordstrom gift card. Note that the gift card is not redeemable for cash.
Processing Times for Refunds
If you opt for an in-store return, the refund credited to your credit card can take three to five business days. For mailed returns, Nordstrom Rack processes your refund upon receipt of your item. This process usually takes about 10 to 14 business days.
Refunds for PayPal Purchases
If you've made a purchase with PayPal, the refund will be credited back to your PayPal account.
Shipping Charges
Be aware that shipping charges are not included in the refund. For standard shipping, if your purchase is over , you will not be charged. For items under , there's a .95 shipping charge. If you opt for two-day shipping, it's for most orders, while next-day shipping generally costs .
