Owen Bonner fled during a dentist visit while on an ‘escorted suspension of detention’.
Authorities are on the lookout for a ‘restricted patient’ who made an escape during a dental appointment in Ayrshire.
Owen Bonner was temporarily released under escorted supervision for his dentist appointment but seized the opportunity to escape.
Bonner is described as a Caucasian male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, medium build, with short, receding gray hair, a pale complexion, and blue eyes.
At the time of his escape, he was seen wearing a white Milano brand jumper, loose-fitting white Milano jogging pants, white Nike trainers, and a white woolly hat. It is also possible that he has a green and white Celtic football shirt and a red vest.
The police have issued a warning to the public to avoid approaching him and to report any sightings to Police Scotland immediately.
A Police Scotland spokesperson reported, “Mr. Owen Bonner, a restricted patient, has absconded in Ayrshire during an escorted suspension of detention while attending a dental appointment.”
“He was last seen dressed in a white Milano jumper, white baggy Milano jogging trousers, white Nike training shoes, and a white woolly hat. He may also possess a green and white Celtic football top and a red gilet,” the spokesperson added.
“We are eager to locate this patient as soon as possible. The public is advised not to approach him and to contact Police Scotland if he is seen or if they have any information about his whereabouts. Please quote incident number 2056 of 13 November 2025 when calling 101,” the spokesperson concluded.
