A holidaymaker in Majorca was left stunned by the unexpected actions of other guests at the hotel pool.
On her family vacation to the Spanish island, a woman named Sheralee observed a scene at the Sol Barbados hotel that she described as the funniest thing she’s ever witnessed. This occurred during her recent stay at the hotel.
Sheralee captured the incident on video and shared it on TikTok, urging her followers to “please look” at what was happening.
The video documented a frenetic “sunbed war” among the guests.
At the start of the video, Sheralee humorously commented to her friends, “Girls, watch this. I’ve never seen anything like it in my whole life. Watch how they all run for the sun loungers, please watch.”
She filmed a large group of guests lined up by the pool, eagerly waiting to claim a sunbed as soon as the gates opened at 10am. The crowd dashed towards the loungers situated around both the main and children’s pools, as reported by the Mirror.

Sheralee described the event as “scandalous” and remarked that she had never experienced anything quite like it.
The one-minute clip quickly shows how the available sunbeds were snatched up, a common sight at many beach resorts where securing a spot by the pool can feel like a competitive sport.
The video has garnered over 2,300 likes and 549 comments on TikTok. One viewer expressed their dismay, saying, “Shocking, [I] would rather sit on the floor.” Another hoped to avoid such vacations, stating, “May this kind of vacation never find me.”
However, some viewers found the incident amusing, with one suggesting it should be an Olympic event. Another viewer humorously noted, “The wee girl flew across there like Usain Bolt,” while a third mentioned, “Some people don’t get this is actually part of the holiday fun.”
