Todd Chrisley’s Shocking Revelation: Prison Brawl with Another Famous Inmate!

By Emily Anderson

Todd Chrisley has disclosed an encounter with the notorious orchestrator of the college admissions scandal, Rick Singer, during his time in prison.

The protagonist of Chrisley Knows Best, who was incarcerated at FPC Pensacola for over two years on charges of tax evasion and fraud before receiving a pardon from President Donald Trump in May, shared the confrontation on his daughter Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast.

Although Todd, 56, did not mention Singer, 64, directly by name in the podcast aired on Tuesday, he described him as “the biggest snitch in America,” referring to his role in the scandal that implicated well-known figures like Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin.

“He was boasting, claiming he didn’t wear a wire and didn’t snitch on anybody. He said the feds framed him. We know the details because of Felicity… We followed the whole saga closely,” Todd stated about Singer’s assertions.

In January 2023, Singer was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison after pleading guilty in March 2019 to charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering, money laundering, and obstruction of justice. He had accepted millions of dollars from parents to fraudulently boost their children’s test scores and bribe college officials. Singer was later moved to a halfway house in August 2024.

Todd initially confronted Singer, expressing his desire to never speak to him again due to his role as a cooperating witness in the federal case. However, their interaction escalated a few months later.

“He started disparaging Savannah, right when she began revealing major issues within the [Bureau of Prisons], akin to what Barbara Walters did,” Todd recounted. “He was bad-mouthing her. I approached him and warned, ‘I am telling you this one last time.’”

“I told him, ‘I will decapitate you and defile your neck if you ever mention my daughter again.’ I was dead serious,” Todd continued. “You know I would have followed through.”

He added, “I don’t want you to be scared of me, just understand that if my daughter’s name escapes your lips again, I will decapitate you and defile your neck.”

After this intense exchange, Todd noted that he “never had another problem” with Singer, marking it as the sole significant incident he faced during his imprisonment.

Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were found guilty of federal tax evasion and fraud in 2022 and were sentenced to a combined term of 19 years. In May, both were granted presidential pardons and released from custody.
