Amanda Kloots, co-host of The Talk, and former tennis star Justin Gimelstob recently stepped out together on the red carpet, marking a new chapter in their relationship.

During an event hosted by the Women’s Cancer Research Fund called Unforgettable Evening on April 28, People magazine captured the couple’s first public outing. Kloots shared with the publication that their romance is still quite fresh.

Kloots described her new relationship as “absolutely lovely” and mentioned that they are enjoying the early stages of getting to know each other. “We are still in the courting phase,” she explained.

Gimelstob expressed his hope to maintain the freshness of their early relationship stages, admitting, “I have been her admirer long before we started dating.”

The couple recounted their initial meeting, which occurred at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas, noted by Gimelstob as their first encounter. However, Kloots clarified that it took another year and a half before they actually went on a date. She credited mutual friends for playing a pivotal role in bringing them together.

Kloots felt their relationship blossomed quite organically, which she finds wonderful.

Gimelstob didn’t hold back in his admiration for Kloots, praising her extensively. “She’s an incredibly special person,” he commented. “Not only is she stunning, but she also handles everything with such class and grace. She’s an amazing mother, deeply caring, and has a generous spirit, beautiful energy, and incredible athletic ability.”

Kloots reciprocated the affection, highlighting Gimelstob’s qualities as a partner and a parent. “He’s a wonderful man and father. I really appreciate how he looks after me,” she said.

Gimelstob was previously married to Cary Sinnott, with whom he divorced in 2015. They have a son named Brandon, born in 2013.

Kloots’ previous marriage was to Nick Cordero, who tragically passed away due to COVID-19 complications in July 2020. She and Cordero shared a son, Elvis, born in 2019.
