A news anchor from CBS in Houston, Texas, is celebrating the arrival of a new addition to his family.
Marcelino Benito, an anchor at KHOU 11 and an Emmy Award winner, and his wife Rafaella, became proud parents to a baby boy named Mateo on April 30. The news station recently broadcasted a segment that showcased several pictures of the newborn.
The couple also shared this joyous occasion on their Instagram on May 7.
“A week ago today our world changed in the best way when our little guy arrived. 7 lbs 9 ounces of pure love and joy,” they expressed in the caption of their post.
“Mom and baby Mateo are both healthy and doing great. And big sister Emma is completely in love with her new little brother. Thank you God for this beautiful blessing and thank you all for keeping us in your prayers last week,” they continued in the post.
Benito’s colleagues at the station were thrilled about the new family member as well.
“Oh, Mateo’s so cute!” exclaimed a co-anchor. “Very adorable. That is a good looking family.”
