Yuxin Cao has been missing since the evening of September 2.
Police have conducted extensive searches to locate a man who has been missing for more than three weeks.
Yuxin Cao went missing earlier this month.
The 22-year-old was last observed on the evening of Tuesday, September 2, between 7pm and 9pm.
He was last spotted in the upper parking area of Dumyat Hill near Stirling.
Since then, there have been no further sightings, and Police Scotland has issued a new appeal to the public regarding his disappearance.
The police have stated, “We continue to seek public assistance to find Yuxin Cao, who has been reported missing from Stirling.”
“The 22-year-old was last seen from 7-9pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in the upper parking area of Dumyat Hill near Stirling.”
“He is described as being 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair.”
“At the time he was last seen, he was wearing dark clothing, including a hooded top.”
“Comprehensive inquiries are ongoing, including reviews of CCTV footage and searches of the last known area he was seen.”
“Police efforts are supported by the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team, the Dive and Marine Unit, as well as air support and the dog unit.”
Inspector Emma Patrick stated, “As time passes, our concerns for Yuxin’s well-being increase.”
“Our investigations are ongoing and searches will continue over the weekend.”
“I urge anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us.”
“We know Dumyat Hill is a popular spot for walkers and dog walkers.”
“I specifically request anyone who was in the Dumyat Hill area to recall if they saw anyone matching Yuxin’s description.”
“I also ask anyone with dash-cam or private CCTV footage from surrounding areas that might help to come forward.”
Anyone possessing such footage is encouraged to contact the police.
Inspector Patrick added, “Any small piece of information could be crucial.”
