Mystery Solved: Suspect’s Body Discovered in Clydebank Flat Ends Death Investigation

On February 24, Hayley Campbell, aged 48, was discovered deceased in a flat located on Burgh Hall Street in the Partick district of Glasgow.

The inquiry into the death of a woman in a Glasgow apartment concluded following the demise of a suspect connected to the case.

Hayley Campbell, 48, was found deceased in an apartment on Burgh Hall Street in the Partick region on February 24. Initially, her death was classified as unexplained by the investigating officers.

Authorities were seeking a 47-year-old woman for questioning concerning Hayley’s death. This individual was later found deceased the next day in a residence on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank.

The police have stated that the woman’s death is not considered suspicious.

Additionally, law enforcement officials have confirmed that they are not pursuing any other suspects in relation to Hayley’s death.

As a result, the investigation has been officially closed.

Hayley’s relatives have been informed of these developments.

A Police Scotland statement indicated: “The investigation regarding the death of a 48-year-old woman on Burgh Hall Street, Glasgow has been finalized.

“Police were alerted and arrived at the scene around 3pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, where they discovered Hayley Campbell deceased.

“No arrests have been made, and her family members have been notified.

“Subsequently, at approximately 4pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the body of a 47-year-old woman was located at a residence on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank.

“Her death is currently not being treated as suspicious.

“This individual was previously sought by police for questioning in connection with Hayley’s death.

“No further suspects are being sought in this case.”
