A police investigation has been initiated following a series of fires that destroyed a caravan and two cars during the early morning hours in a town in Fife.
The emergency response teams hurried to the scene at St Kilda Crescent in Kirkcaldy around 6:50 am on Sunday, January 4. Firefighting units responded swiftly and managed to extinguish the fires shortly after their arrival.

An official statement from Police Scotland stated: “At approximately 6:50 am on Sunday, January 4, we received reports of a caravan and two automobiles ablaze in the St Kilda Crescent area of Kirkcaldy. The fires were successfully extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and thankfully, no injuries were reported. We are currently making efforts to fully understand the circumstances of the incident.”
