Montana Jordan Weds Jenna Weeks
Former Young Sheldon cast member Montana Jordan has officially married.
At the age of 22, the actor from Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage celebrated his union with his long-time girlfriend Jenna Weeks. The wedding took place this past Saturday at the Dove Hollow Estate in Texas, the couple’s home state.
The wedding theme was described as “classic cowboy,” aiming to capture a sense of rustic elegance. “We wanted to blend traditional country with a touch of elegance,” Weeks explained to PEOPLE magazine. The event was well-attended, with around 200 guests including Jordan’s colleagues Emily Osment, Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Jessie Prez, and Raegan Revord.
After welcoming their daughter Emma Rae, who is now 13 months old, Jordan proposed to Weeks in January. Since the engagement, he happily let Weeks take the lead in organizing their big day.
A Family-Centered Celebration
Both Weeks and Jordan expressed their desire for a wedding that was both intimate and memorable, placing a significant emphasis on family involvement. “Having our family around us is very fulfilling,” Weeks remarked. Jordan echoed her sentiments, stating, “The only essential for me was celebrating this moment with our families.”
Before the official ceremony, the couple shared a private moment exchanging handwritten vows. The ceremony, led by a pastor from their hometown, included a communion service specifically for them.
Throughout the wedding day, Weeks changed outfits, starting with a strapless Valentini gown that made her feel like a “real-life princess,” and later changing into a shorter, elegant dress for the evening festivities. The second dress was chosen for its comfort, making it easier for her to dance freely.
Jordan also switched his attire from a formal black tuxedo and white cowboy hat to a more relaxed ensemble of Wranglers, a pearl snap shirt, and well-worn cowboy boots.
The Meaning of Marriage
Talking to PEOPLE, Jordan shared his views on marriage, describing it as gaining “a best friend for life.” He elaborated, “It means sticking together through all ups and downs, and she’s my person until death do us part. Heck, I might even search for her in heaven.”
Weeks shared her perspective on the commitment, emphasizing the importance of dedication and unconditional love. “Marriage to me means dedicating your life to this person, being there for them always, loving them without hesitation, and always prioritizing their well-being. It’s about listening, supporting, and continuing to be their friend above all,” she stated.
