The victims were international visitors in the United States

Three international visitors were tragically shot near Disney World in what has been described as a ruthless attack. The victims, three males, were staying in Kissimmee, Florida, in a rental property after their vehicle broke down, leading up to the incident.

Law enforcement from Osceola County have identified the victims as two brothers, Robert Kraft, 70, and Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, along with 68-year-old James John Puchan. The incident occurred on Saturday (January 17) around 12:14 PM. These men were visiting Florida from other parts of the US, according to a report by the Daily Star.

The three individuals were discovered by police outside their temporary residence, located merely eight miles from the famed Disney World park. Authorities have named Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, as the suspected perpetrator.

Bojeh, who resides adjacent to the vacation home, was reportedly seen fleeing into his residence immediately after the incident. Christopher Blackmon, a representative of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department, characterized the killings as “cold-blooded,” “horrific and senseless.”

In a statement to the press, Blackmon elaborated, “There was no prior conflict between these individuals. It appears to have been a random act of violence.”

“This was the individual who lived next door,” he added.

Upon searching Bojeh’s home, which is known to the authorities, police recovered two firearms. He was subsequently booked into the Osceola County jail under three counts of murder. According to records from The Osceola News-Gazette, Bojeh has had previous encounters with the law.

In 2021, he was implicated in a case of attempted murder and was found guilty.
