Bianca Gascoigne, known from Celebrity Big Brother, experienced an unfortunate incident during her recent vacation due to a vehicle mishap.
The 38-year-old model and television personality was holidaying in Turkey when she suffered a golf cart accident that resulted in a broken ankle.
She humorously remarked on the incident in an Instagram post, sharing images of herself in a bikini with a walker. “Not quite the break I was hoping for this year,” she quipped, using a bone emoji for emphasis.
Gascoigne, who has graced the covers of several beauty magazines including Maxim, maintained her lighthearted approach throughout the post. She wrote, “Golf buggy: 1, ankle: 0. Grateful the crash wasn’t worse and thankful for the wonderful holiday memories. Very lucky to have the best support network at home to help me – as they say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
Additional images in her post included X-rays of her ankle pre- and post-surgery, and some rather graphic pictures showing her ankle stitched up. Another photo showed her enjoying pizza while in her hospital bed.
Gascoigne initially rose to fame through her appearance on Love Island in 2006, followed by stints on The X-Factor and Dancing with the Stars. She later joined the cast of the 19th season of Celebrity Big Brother, where she reached the finale and finished in sixth place.
