A Tony Award-nominated actor, known for his Disney roles, recently shared the news of his engagement via social media.
Billy Magnussen, the actor, alongside photographer Erica Firestone, disclosed their engagement with a shared Instagram post. Magnussen proposed while they were vacationing in Sardinia, Italy.
The social media update included several pictures and brief videos of the beachside proposal, which was filmed from above by a drone.
The caption on the post celebrated their engagement, stating, “Anywhere, just as long as you’re by my side #fidanzati,” utilizing the Italian term for a betrothed couple.
While it’s unclear when the couple started dating, Firestone first featured Magnussen on her Instagram in October 2024 during the red carpet premiere of his HBO series The Franchise.
Magnussen has been a prominent actor in major films over the past decade, with roles in productions like Into the Woods, Aladdin, the Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark, the latest James Bond movie No Time To Die, and the recent live-action Lilo & Stitch.
