Disgraced Ex-SNP Councillor Runs Thriving Campervan Business: Unfit for Trial but Not for Success

By Benjamin Harrison

Despite previously alleging illness that prevented him from standing trial, Michael Cullen is actively engaged in a flourishing business focused on converting campervans, as disclosed by the Sunday Mail.

Michael Cullen, a former SNP councillor previously deemed unfit for trial over fabricated claims of sexual assault, is currently partaking in a prosperous campervan enterprise. At 44, Cullen falsely accused a woman he met online of sexual assault following their consensual interaction.

Cullen claimed he was too ill to stand trial due to a mental health condition, excusing him from court appearances. A factual examination at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier this month concluded with a sheriff’s decision that he had indeed lied about being drugged and assaulted.

Despite claims of being bedridden and housebound due to depressive disorders, Cullen is actively engaged in a thriving camper van conversion venture, contradicting previous statements regarding his ability to attend court or stand trial.

Cullen, who now prefers to be called “Mikey,” was found tending to inquiries at Demon Campers in Clydebank. Official records indicate his mother, Audrey Cullen, who testified in the fact-finding court session, is listed as the director of a company named Demon Services.

She previously held positions as the sole director and secretary for Demon Campers Ltd, which was dissolved in December. However, she was not present when our journalists visited the company’s location on Beardmore Way in Clydebank’s industrial estate earlier this week.
