A courtroom in Miami was thrown into disarray when a burglary suspect attacked the judge with feces during his trial.
Dorleans Philidor, aged 33, was in court before Judge Lisa Walsh in 2019 when he stunned all present by defecating in his wheelchair and attempting to throw it at her, according to a report by the Mirror.
The incident caused immediate panic in the courtroom as officers rushed to control the situation. Judge Walsh had to quickly move out of harm’s way as bailiffs urged her to escape.
“The scene was chaotic — about 60 officers swarmed in,” said Allen Rios, a witness who recorded the aftermath and posted it online. “They evacuated everyone — it became a contaminated zone,” he added.
During this shocking display, Philidor reportedly yelled, “It’s protein! It’s good for you!” Fortunately, the judge was not hit by the feces.
The courtroom was promptly closed for sanitation, but the trial resumed in a different room later that day. Despite the disturbing events, the jury acquitted Philidor of the burglary charges.

Philidor’s disruptive behavior wasn’t new; just a day before, he had soiled himself in a holding cell and smeared the walls with feces, necessitating another cleanup.
Following this, a doctor evaluated his mental health, and authorities concluded he was competent to continue the trial.
In light of these incidents, Juan Diasgranados, a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Corrections, mentioned that staff had implemented “extra security precautions” to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Philidor faced other serious charges aside from the burglary accusation.
