The 51-year-old Maestro star spoke up about the rumors during Monday’s installment of the SmartLess podcast, where he appears alongside hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.
On the show, Arnett — who appears in Cooper’s latest film as director, Is This Thing On? — recounted being asked to name something the public doesn’t know about Cooper. He said he was going to point out a persistent bit of gossip. “People keep saying Bradley’s had plastic surgery,” Arnett explained, and he intended to clarify that, in his view, that wasn’t true.
Bateman quickly backed him up, and Arnett emphasized his point: no, Cooper hasn’t gone under the knife. Cooper then spoke directly about how the chatter has affected him, saying that recently strangers have been approaching him with surprised compliments about his looks.
