Zimmerman’s fans quickly rallied around him, offering support and compliments. One fan remarked, “I never really noticed your smile before; I always saw your energy, spirit, joy, enthusiasm, and kind heart. Your new pearly whites look wonderful, and if it’s something you’ve wanted, you absolutely deserve that smile!”

Another supporter commented, “Your teeth were great before but I totally get feeling insecure! It looks fantastic,” while another said, “It makes no difference, you’re still the same person!!”

After his initial reveal, Zimmerman posted a video of himself dancing with his dentists, captioning it, “THANK YALL FOR ALL THE LOVE ON MY NEW TEETH.”

Throughout his career, Zimmerman has been candid about his dental struggles. In January 2023, he spoke about his decision to remove his braces earlier than planned to help rid himself of a lisp that affected his singing.

He recounted a pivotal moment during a performance: “I was singing for a small group, and an artist from my hometown, Dylan Wolfe, suggested I really pursue singing but consider removing my braces, which he noticed were causing a lisp. That advice stuck with me.” He continued, sharing that he visited his orthodontist the following day to have them removed, despite his teeth not being perfectly aligned. “I didn’t care, I just wanted them off. A week later, I wrote my first song,” he explained on Today’s Country.
