Photos circulated online show damage to the premises of an Edinburgh-based company.
An investigation has been initiated by the police following the vandalism of an Edinburgh business associated with defense production in the early hours of Friday morning.
Photographs indicate that windows and air conditioning units were broken, and paint was sprayed both inside and outside the building of Keysight Technologies located at Lochside Place near Edinburgh Park at approximately 1:25 am.
A group taking responsibility for the vandalism declared that the act was performed “in solidarity with the people of Palestine.”
The activists accused the company of supplying electronic components to UAV Tactical, a Leicester-based subsidiary of Elbit Systems, which is Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, according to their statement.
They also cited business connections between Keysight and Thales, which has a facility in Glasgow that contributes to the production of the UK’s Watchkeeper drone, a project in collaboration with Elbit.
The group’s statement further expressed their commitment to “taking direct action against all those who enable Israel’s weapons trade” and stated that “Keysight will continue to be targeted until they sever all ties and contracts with Elbit and Thales.”
The statement also referenced the ongoing conflict in Gaza and called on others to “take action against the Israeli war machine.”
Police Scotland confirmed that officers responded to the incident shortly after 1 am.
A spokesperson stated: “Around 1.25 am on Friday, 7 November, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Lochside Place, Edinburgh, where two buildings were vandalised. Officers attended and inquiries are ongoing to identify those involved. Anyone with information that may assist should contact 101 quoting incident number 0196 of 7 November, 2025.”
