At around 9:15 AM on Friday, 14 November 2025, Police Scotland was alerted that Martin Hannah, aged 59, was last observed on Cawdor Road, Nairn.

He vanished near where a blue Fiat Panda was reported to have entered the River Nairn close to Howford Bridge on the B9090 just south of Nairn at the same time that morning.

One individual was urgently transported to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, although their condition remains undisclosed.
