Piers Morgan recently labelled Tommy Robinson as a ‘bottle job’ following a heated exchange on social media that occurred after numerous rallies took place across the UK.

In response to Robinson’s ‘Unite the Kingdom’ demonstrations, which saw massive crowds on the streets, the television host and the activist engaged in a fiery online spat.

Robinson, legally known as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has also been vocal about his desire to see the UK Parliament dissolved, further criticizing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in his statements.

Amid these tensions, the ex-Good Morning Britain host, aged 60, took to social media to express his viewpoints, according to a report by The Mirror.

On the platform Twitter/X, Piers posted an image showing the crowded streets, commenting: “Labelling all attendees of yesterday’s @TRobinsonNewEra rally as far-right extremists is unjust.”

“Equally untrue is the notion that they were all impeccable angels. Many participated out of genuine concern for their nation, its immigration policies, and the state of free speech,” he added.

However, Tommy hit back, accusing Piers of opportunism. The 42-year-old re-shared Piers’ post, retorting: “Don’t try riding the wave @piersmorgan. Figures like you are why it’s so hard to speak up, with your unwarranted labels of ‘racist’, ‘Islamophobe’, ‘far-right’. You’re part of the problem, not the solution.”

Yet, Piers was quick to return fire, replying: “Calm down, Bottle Job. Riding your wave is the last thing I’d want.”

He continued the challenge, stating: “But if you’re brave enough, I’m still ready for the interview you’ve been avoiding.”

Meanwhile, during the rallies, Elon Musk was featured on a large screen, where he controversially predicted “violence is coming” to the UK, leading to widespread criticism. The Business Secretary, Peter Kyle, described Musk’s remarks as “slightly incomprehensible” and “wholly inappropriate.”

Kyle also commented on the demonstrations, noting that the large turnout underscored that “freedom of association and speech are very much alive in our country, despite a small faction resorting to violence against police, actions that are inexcusable and will be dealt with legally.”

It was reported that the rally drew between 110,000 to 150,000 participants, with approximately 5,000 individuals partaking in a counter-protest championing anti-racism.

Following the demonstrations, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood condemned the violent clashes with the police, asserting that anyone involved in criminal activities would be rigorously prosecuted.
