Masked Gang’s Messy Getaway: Trail of Pringles and Sweet Wrappers After Cafe Break-In in Scotland!

By Benjamin Harrison

A group of intruders left a peculiar debris trail after burglarizing a cafe at the Loganlea Fishery near Penicuik.

A trio masked in black made an unusual exit after breaking into a cafe in Midlothian, leaving behind a “trail of Pringles and sweet wrappers.” The incident occurred at Loganlea Fishery, nestled in the Pentland Hills near Penicuik, on Saturday, January 24.

Dressed entirely in black, the three figures were captured by the trout fishery’s CCTV shortly after the facility closed on Saturday afternoon. According to Loganlea Fishery, around 3.10pm, they dismantled the external cameras before breaking into the cabin through the kitchen window.

While they managed to take another camera located inside, they did not steal anything of significant value, according to a report by Edinburgh Live.

Instead, the intruders pilfered a collection of snacks and beverages from the cafe before setting off into the hills, leaving a littered path in their wake.

In a statement on social media, the cafe’s owners said: “Today after closing around 3.10pm three presumed teenage boys with their hoods up and faces covered with balaclavas tore down our external cameras and entered our cabin through the kitchen window. They also took our internal camera.
