A New Addition for Cardi B and Stefon Diggs
Excitement abounds for Cardi B and Stefon Diggs as they announce they’re expecting their first child together!
Just four months after the famous “WAP” artist and the celebrated NFL wide receiver made their relationship public, Cardi B revealed on CBS Mornings that they are soon to become parents.
During a discussion with Gayle King, Cardi B shared, “I’m pregnant with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ child,” mentioning that the baby is due to arrive just before her Little Miss Drama tour begins in February. “I’ve been busy with so much work, yet here I am, working through it all while making a new life.”
“I’m really happy, feeling like I’m in a great place,” she continued. “Both of us support each other immensely, and being at similar stages in our careers really helps. I think we’re each other’s best cheerleaders in what we do.”
Cardi, 32, confessed she had not yet shared the news with her parents prior to the interview. “I wanted to announce it in my own time, I’m not keeping it a secret,” she conveyed.
The confirmation of Cardi and Diggs’ relationship came when they were spotted together at a New York Knicks game in May. Cardi’s previous marriage to Migos rapper Offset, with whom she has three children – Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1 – ended in July 2024. She filed for divorce shortly after announcing her pregnancy with Blossom, but the divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
Cardi praised Diggs for providing her with a sense of stability as she prepares to release her forthcoming album, Am I The Drama?, which features a track titled “Safe.”
“He’s really brought a feeling of safety and boosted my confidence and strength,” she expressed. “Just a couple of weeks ago, I was overwhelmed, having a panic attack, shedding tears because I was so nervous about the album launch. It’s tough when public opinion is divided, and people can be quite harsh.”
